About Shelley Parker-Bansal
Shelley Parker-Bansal CEqD has been involved with horses for over 20 years. She is a Certified Equine Dentist and specialises in equine dentistry for performance horses, such as dressage horses, show-jumpers, eventers, and elite race horses.
Shelley also holds a National Certificate in Sport horse. She is a competitive dressage rider and currently rides Dream of Angels and Initial Chief.
Previously, Shelley has ridden Advanced level dressage on Lochmara Bay, who is now retired.
Shelley's business, EquiDental Care Ltd, has been treating horses since January 2006. Based in South Auckland, Shelley regularly services Whangarei, Hamilton, Taranaki and Tahiti and is available for bookings in other areas upon request.
To keep up with advances in dentistry techniques Shelley regularly attends courses at The College of Equine Dentistry Australia and is aiming towards advanced certification in the future.
